Account-Based Marketing for Manufacturers, Making Your Website Sell, and More...
Manufacturers are increasingly having to do more with less, as costs rise and markets change drastically. In an era where the Internet and software tools have leveled the playing field in a globalized economy, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers now have cost-effective options to increase awareness and generate new sales.
In this month's newsletter we cover a few of these options beginning with the first blog in our series on Account-Based Marketing (ABM), and why it's a great fit for rural manufacturing companies. Another option we highlight, comes from our friends at Thomas Registry, in their article on how your website can be leveraged to sell to your most difficult customers to win over. Plus we highlight how Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is being used in industrial marketing and how marketing automation can lead to a better customer experience.
We hope you enjoy this month's newsletter and find something you can employ in your own marketing. --Bully!
Why Account-Based Marketing is a Fit for Rural Manufacturers
The challenges of rising production costs, an aging workforce, and international competition have forced America's manufacturing sector to operate leaner than ever, while still trying to reach potential customers and keep a full pipeline. One solution manufacturing companies can explore is Account-Based Marketing (ABM) which owners can use to stay focused on specific customers with strategic significance to their business’s stability and growth. Read more in this first in a series of articles on the benefits of ABM for manufacturers.
Bull Moose Considered for Multiple Business Honors
Bull Moose was recently considered for awards by two regional business and innovation this past month.
The Meadville-Western Crawford County Chamber of Commerce recently named Bull Moose Marketing as one of three finalists for the chamber's annual New Business of the Year Award. The Chamber annually grants awards in multiple categories to regional employers including the New Business category which recognizes influential area businesses that are less than three years old. Additionally, Bull Moose Marketing was among the contenders for the Benjamin Franklin Technology Partners of Central and Northern Pennsylvania 2019 Big Idea Contest and its grand prize of a $50,000 grant for the finalist. Jill Edwards, the Program’s Executive Director, commented, “This was the first time we sponsored a contest that focused on the intersection between art and technology, and we were pleased at the great response."
It was a great honor to be listed among the deserving winners for each of these events.

Not all customers are created equal. Some will come to you fully informed and ready to buy. Others — likely the majority — require a great deal of time nurturing and educating. The worst are those that absorb a great deal of time and effort from sales professionals, only to reveal that they are not the right kind of customer for your business.
Thankfully, industrial businesses can leverage their website to help streamline and potentially expedite the sales process, while simultaneously weeding out unqualified buyers. Click here to learn more.

Several of these graduates are continuing on as AIM employees at the student-run agency operating from dedicated offices a Foundry Cowork at Parkside Commons. Following their training program working on strategies for two local businesses, the AIM team has been busy working on projects for local small businesses including Hagan Business Machines of Meadville and the Green Shoppe among others. We'd also like to congratulate seniors Marcus Davenport and Natalia Buczek on graduating after their work at AIM during the Fall and Spring semesters of the academic year. Thank you for efforts at AIM and for the Meadville community!
We're excited to bring in another group of student employees this summer who have finished their coursework with us and are now working with client projects.
